The Top 5 Lies Of Obama's Climate Change Speech

President Obama continues to be praised by the uninformed in our population for his "great" plans to restrict carbon dioxide emissions.

Obama’s speech was loaded with complete lies, myths, and distortions of reality. Here are but a few of the falsehoods the President of the United States presented as facts:

1. "The planet is warming."

   Britain’s Met Office admitted last fall that the world’s warming trend stopped at least 16 years ago.

2. "Human activity is contributing to it."

   Neither Obama nor anyone else can claim for certain that human activity is responsible for so called "climate change".

3. "The overwhelming judgment of science — of chemistry and physics and millions of measurements — has put all that (doubt) to rest."

   There is great disagreement among scientists in regard to manmade global warming, with literally thousands of scientists in dissent.

4. "Ninety-seven percent of scientists, including, by the way, some who originally disputed the data, have now put that (doubt) to rest."

   This dubious claim is from what is called the "Doran Survey," which supposedly found that 75 of 77 climatologists agree that man is causing global warming. Today, more scientists than ever doubt much of the manmade global warming data available.

5. "Americans across the country are already paying the price of inaction in insurance premiums, state and local taxes, and the costs of rebuilding and disaster relief."

   If Americans are paying extreme insurance premiums, it's definitely not due to manmade climate change. Wait until Obama’s full scale war on coal takes effect to see how taxes increase.
