Simple Evidence that Global Warming is Not Man-Made

Comments

Global warming has been a topic of heated debate for the past few decades. While there are two sides to every issue, a preponderance of the evidence points to the earth’s warming cycles having nothing to do with man-made CO2 emissions.

The US government has poured hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars into research to try and prove that global warming is man-made. The government’s theory is that humans are causing the “greenhouse effect”. However, clear evidence proves quite the contrary; carbon dioxide emissions have a much smaller effect on the climate than some scientists, governments, and media outlets would have you believe.

Global warming is a naturally occurring process that the earth has been going through since its existence. The United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has concluded that, “some of the global warming could be a recovery from the Little Ice Age rather than a direct result of human activity” (Brogan).

It is fairly simple to prove that global warming is not man-made just by comparing the timing of man’s carbon dioxide emissions with the timing of the planet’s warming cycle.

For example:

  • Temperature increases to the planet started in 1700 (long before man-made CO2 emissions were an issue), and the underlying rate of increase has been roughly steady since that date.
  • Human CO2 emissions were negligible before 1850, and only significantly increased after 1945. What about the earth’s warming prior to 1850?

The conclusion should be quite apparent, there’s almost no connection whatsoever between human CO2 emissions and an increase in global temperatures.
