Global Warming and Overpopulation Will Soon Lead to Mass Extinctions According to Global Warming Advocates

end-of-world

According to some left-leaning publications, including the New York Times green blogger, Justin Gillis, overpopulation and global warming will soon lead to “mass extinctions” of humanity. The report, which was published in the scientific journal Nature, was also written about by Alexander Abad-Santos of The Atlantic’s “Wired” under the title, “The World as We Know It is About to End, Say Some Really Frightened Scientists”.

In the report, some 22 biologists and ecologists conclude in their findings that the earth has reached such a point of no return due to environmental changes that extinctions are the inevitable outcome. At the heart of the claim is the assertion that mankind has depleted 43 percent of all available ice-free land surface on the planet. According to this group, if that percentage reaches 50, then “the ecological web can collapse”. The Carbon Belch team is not exactly sure how these scientists “know this”, but we guess we’re just supposed to take their word for it.

Hey 22 scientists – Great job of fanning the flames of climate alarmism! Better not light up your grills tonight, folks.
