Coal to Surpass Oil as the World’s Top Fuel in a Decade

According to the latest IEA projections, coal is set to surpass oil as the world’s top fuel in as little as ten years time.  Driven by the tremendous growth in emerging market countries like India and China, Western nations are concerned that the rise in coal use will increase manmade global warming as coal has a larger “carbon footprint” than other fuels.

As prices for coal decline, and demand for coal increases, a war on coal will become a major environmental pillar of an Obama second term; as coal is the enemy of the environmental movement.
