Barney Frank – GOP Stupid on Climate Change
Posted on: Tuesday, November 13, 2012 CommentsLittle did we know that Mitt Romney’s defeat at the polls on November 6th was a result of the GOP’s position on climate change; this according to outgoing Representative Barney Frank.
Of course Frank’s comments were in reference to Hurricane Sandy, which apparently, according to Frank, was caused by global warming. Frank: Climate change — it brought on the endorsement of Mike Bloomberg, because one of the things the storm did was to bring climate change to the fore. So, to that extent, if Republicans got hurt because of the storm, it was because of the abysmal stupidity of their position denying climate change. And yes, so the storm did remind people how wrong they were.
While Frank’s comments seem absurd, the Carbon Belch team is warning conservatives that Hurricane Sandy may be the catalyst needed for liberals to once again attempt to stop the Keystone pipeline and bring back to the forefront some of their favorite issues such as the carbon tax.
